About
Founded in 1980 under the name “Munegu Autu” and originally composed of close friends of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the “Barbagiuans of Monaco” have become a key player in Monegasque sports.
With the arrival of Henri Biancheri in the late 1980s, followed by legends like Delio Onnis and Jean Petit, the team gained significant visibility. In the 2000s, they began organizing matches during major events, such as the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival.
With the inclusion of stars like Didier Deschamps, the Barbagiuans launched the Fight Aids Cup in 2020, a charitable match supporting Fight Aids Monaco.
Today, the team brings together former Monaco football stars committed to supporting charitable causes.
