DESCRIPTION:MONACO AND JAPAN LEGENDS UNITED! \nCharity Match “United through Legends” – June 27 in Suita \nThe non-profit organization BARBAGIUANS MONACO\, based in Monaco\, will host a charity match titled United through Legends on Friday\, June 27 at the Panasonic Stadium Suita (Japan)\, to celebrate the friendship between Monaco and Japan. \nFounded in 1980 by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco\, the association supports humanitarian and social causes. It has participated in 10 charity matches around the world\, including the Fight Aids Cup. This will be its first appearance in Asia. The match will take place as part of Monaco National Day at the Osaka 2025 World Expo (June 28)\, and all proceeds will go toward supporting the victims of the 2024 Noto earthquake and the efforts of Fight Aids Monaco. \nTHE TEAMS \nThe match will feature: \n\n\nMonaco Legends (Barbagiuans of Monaco) – former iconic AS Monaco players \n\n\nJapan Legends – legends of Japanese football \n\n\nConfirmed names include: \n\n\nMonaco side: Ludovic Giuly\, Marcel Desailly\, Clarence Seedorf \n\n\nJapan side: Keisuke Honda\, Daisuke Matsui\, Yoichiro Kakitani\, Takashi Fukunishi\, Akira Kaji\, and others \n\n\nTakumi Minamino (AS Monaco) will serve as the event’s ambassador and take part in the opening ceremony. \nSTATEMENTS \nLouis Ducruet (President of Barbagiuans Monaco):“We are honored to organize this charity match in Japan\, in the same year as the Osaka World Expo.
